Mitt Romney’s Position on The Right to Bear Arms (The 2nd Amendment)

Recently, in a televised interview, Donald Trump for President campaign manager Corey Lewandowski made the claim that if Mitt Romney were to run for President, that our 2nd Amendment rights would be confiscated by the federal government.  The underlying message plays to Trump-supporters’ fears that liberals are attempting to establish or to fortify a new-world-order Socialist government that can control the population via gun-control measures such as those found in the United Nations Small Arms Treaty.

Among Best-Qualified 2016 Republicans, Mitt Romney Still Wins

In 2008, I fell into the same trap as a lot of voters: I learned about the candidates from the arguments and accusations of the competition.  I watched the mainstream news media, and accepted what they said at face value.  I didn’t know that it was a problem either – until shortly into the 2012 Republican primaries.

In 2012, I lightly researched the candidates, and settled on Tim Pawlenty because of the fiscally and morally conservative values that I believed he held.  When Tim bowed out of the primaries early, and endorsed Mitt Romney, it caught me off guard.  I went online and argued with people about how I couldn’t vote for Mitt Romney because of his positions on abortion, taxes, healthcare, and marriage.  Someone responded to a comment that I made: it was a plea to research Mitt Romney’s positions to more depth on at least one issue.  So, half out of spite and half out of curiosity, I did. Why Mitt Romney is The Best Presidential Candidate in The 2012 Election

Why is Mitt Romney the best presidential candidate in the 2012 election?  Some supporters of other candidates have called Mitt Romney “out of touch”, have claimed that he’s secretly trying to win the White House to hook up his cronies with tons of money while leaving the working class and poor out to dry.  Or worse – some have referred to him as a flip-flopper.

For people who say Mitt Romney is somehow out of touch, they have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about. He can relate to the rich, the middle-class, and the poor – as where most of his critics can only relate to one of these demographs.
